摘要：

Chondrale bzw. osteochondrale Läsionen des Gelenkknorpels sind typische Verletzungsmuster in der Orthopädie und Traumatologie. Da eine Restitutio ad integrum des verletzten Gelenkknorpels in der Regel nicht stattfindet, kann die initiale Läsion zur vorzeitigen Arthrose führen, die wiederum mit langfristigen Kosten für das Gesundheitssystem verbunden ist. Eine adäquate Therapie der chondralen und osteochondralen Läsion ist daher ein wichtiges Ziel dieser Fachgebiete.
