摘要：
Der entscheidende Schritt in der Diagnostik funktioneller neuroendokriner Tumoren des GEP-Systems ist die biochemische Sicherung der Diagnose. Erst im zweiten Schritt sollte dann die jeweils dem Tumor entsprechende Lokalisationsdiagnostik des Primarius eingeleitet werden. Der Tumormarker Chromogranin A sowie die Somatostatin-Rezeptor-Szintigraphie (SRS) erlauben zusammen die Klassifikation des nichtfunktionellen Tumors als neuroendokrine Neoplasie. Die Ausbreitungsdiagnostik erfolgt v. a. bei Erstdiagnose mit der sensitivsten und technisch höchst entwickelten Methodik, um eine stadiumsgerechte Therapie zu ermöglichen. Im Weiteren kann dann auf jeweils ein Verfahren (MRT/CT/Ultraschall) zur Verlaufsdokumentation zurückgegriffen werden.
