On levels of business modelling, communication and model architectures

The emergent new business logic requires, to some extent, new approaches to modelling. Within what kind of framework should we work and develop new methods? Does the new logic even expose weaknesses in the definition of business as such? We will tie our reasoning to a layered, multi-perspective model architecture used in analysis and design of businesses and their information systems. Questions will mainly be handled from a practitioner's viewpoint and in most cases be tied to a business communication perspective.
