摘要
On March 24, 2021, the European Committee of Social Rights 2020 Conclusions were published. On this occasion, it addressed Group 1 of precepts, which includes rights on employment, training and equal opportunities. The result is very worrying, as it reveals numerous instances of non-compliance. This mainly stems from one of the two monitoring mechanisms of the European Social Charter, in particular the reporting system, which is mandatory for all States. The purpose of this study is to analyse them, showing the overall outcomes for Europe and specific outcomes for Spain. This will allow for the assessment of social rights in a moment marked by the 60th anniversary of the 1961 text as well as by the forthcoming Spanish ratification of both the officially-declared Social Constitution of Europe and the Protocol on collective complaints.
