摘要
The use of story creation by the young people in developing computer games, and its educational benefits for the children involved, was investigated. Involving children in the process of game development produces a finished product of commercial quality and, helps to build self-esteem and team work skills in them. The output product also represents the high expectations of the young people in terms of graphics quality and other features. Additionally, designed games can be incorporated with the curriculum concerning literacy and narrative development. Broware's role playing game, Neverwinter nights released in the year 2002 with Neverwinetr Nights Toolsets can be used for such a purpose.
