Relationship between collegians' perceived knowledge and congeneric tested achievement in general education

摘要
Two congeneric assessment instruments of general education were administered to a national sample of collegians. One instrument is a normed, criterion-referenced achievement test, and the other is a survey on which students rated perceptions of their own achievement in the same skills. Wide differences were found to exist between achievements on the two test instruments, although the differences varied across content disciplines.
