Study on Third-Party Logistics Providers Select Evaluation System Based on SEM

Evaluating and selecting third-party Logistics provider are very important aspects for enterprises in the course of outsourcing, and establishing a scientific and suitable evaluation index system is their key step. In this paper we use structural equation model (SEM), through an example, demonstrates the amending and optimized process for evaluation index system: firstly, we establish an evaluation index system of the TPL provider selection; then, we use the SEM to amend it and use the software LISREL to assignment the weighting of it; finally, applied this index system to appraisal and select the optimal TPL provider.
