摘要
In a globalized world, the need for foreign multilingual professionals in various fields of activity is constantly growing. The research methodology is based on a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the results of assessing the professional competence of students - future English teachers. The formative experiment was conducted in the research. A special set of exercises was performed, built on the basis of studying subsystem developed in England and Scotland. The results demonstrate a significant increase in the professional competence of students in various components and assessment criteria, namely: social and pedagogical conditions of activity, socialpractical sphere of activity (English proficiency and practical readiness of students), social-psychological sphere of activity.
