摘要
This paper outlines design and development of a real time noninvasive glucose monitoring system. The system comprises of a sensor mounted in a probe (comprises of an infrared LED and photo detector), signal processing unit and display unit. The system depends on the principle of Beers and Lambert law to detect changes in the absorption of infrared light by the glucose molecules in the blood. The changes in absorption are detected by photo detector in terms of changes in output voltages. Mathematical and calibration model are developed for estimation of accurate glucose concentration with the help of changes in output voltages.
