摘要
This study explored the reflections of students at different stages of their service provided to preschoolers. The study recruited 12 college juniors enrolled in a academic service-learning course as the research participants. Qualitative research was conducted with 12 college juniors. Data were collected with documentation of the participants' reflections, and focus group interviews. The thematic analysis was employed to analyze data. Findings revealed that the contents of participants' reflections took on a qualitative change as their service experience accumulated. The reflective content of the students noted on personal goals before the service. Students' reflective content in-service focused on professional learning and personal growth. The reflective content of students were extended to the attention of social concern after the service. Based on the results of the study, suggestions were provided for college educators for planning academic services-learning program.
