摘要：
Hydrides in zirconium alloys can lead to embrittlement effects. The study was done to estimate the fracture toughness of zirconium hydrides. The improved fracture toughness and threshold stress intensity factor of zirconium alloys was found due to increase in Poisson's ratio and ratio of Young modulus to the yield strength.
