Selective hydrogenation of cinnamaldehyde to cinnamyl alcohol over Co-Fe/Γ-AL2O3 catalysts

摘要
The activity and selectivity of catalysts Co-Fe/gamma-Al2O3 of different n(Fe)/n(Co) and baking temperature were discussed. The introduction of Fe to the catalysts greatly improved the activity and selectivity of catalysts. The optimum conditions were that n(Fe)/n(Co) was 0.08 and baking temperature was 823K. The characterization of Co/gamma-Al2O3 and Co-Fe/gamma-Al2O3 with XPS displayed that the addition of Fe exerted positive effect by improving the content and dispersion of Co on the catalyst surface. As a result, the activity and selectivity of the catalysts were improved. DTG and DTA also showed that the introduction of Fe was benefit to increase decomposition temperature. The more content of Fe, the higher of DTG temperature was.
