Crystallization and preliminary X-ray crystallographic studies of human 2′,3′-cyclic nucleotide 3′-phosphodiesterase

摘要
The catalytic fragment of human 2',3'-cyclic nucleotide 3'-phosphodiesterase (hCNP-CF) has been crystallized by the hanging-drop vapour-diffusion method using polyethylene glycol 300 as the precipitating agent. The crystals belong to the orthorhombic space group P2(1)2(1)2(1), with unit-cell parameters a=44.39, b=55.35, c=78.76 Angstrom. There is one molecule per asymmetric unit. The crystals diffract to at least 1.8 Angstrom resolution using synchrotron radiation and are suitable for X-ray structure analysis at high resolution.
