3D FEA on effects of shield tunnelling on the adjacent deep piles

摘要
This paper describes the effects on the adjacent piles due to shield tunnelling by using 3D FEA. The quantitative simulation on the axial deflection and the additional moment of the deep piles caused by the forward thrust of shield and the ground loss is presented. The rules of deformation and loading of piles, as well as the relation with ground movement are predicted along with the shield driving. Finally, certain factors such as the strata properties, the upper and of pile, are studied to analyse their effects on the computational results.
