摘要
In the Information Systems career at the University of Guayaquil, the students who are currently studying basic English courses at the advanced level show pronunciation difficulties due to lack of understanding of their phonemes and symbols. The methodology in this research was descriptive with Hypertext Preprocessor typology for the operation of the software application, which uses phonetic symbol charts for its development, which are based on the theory of orality and the dimensions of oral language, that help to know the correct pronunciation of the English glossary. With the support of interview techniques and surveys conducted with students registered in this subject, the effectiveness of the web application was established to fortify pronunciation weaknesses during the teaching-learning process of the English language.
