摘要
This paper presents and compares several numerical solutions of the coupled system of Navier-Stokes and Darcy equations. The schemes are based on combinations of the finite element method and the discontinuous Galerkin method. Accuracy and robustness of the methods are investigated for heterogeneous porous media. The importance of local mass conservation for filtration problems is also discussed. (C) 2009 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
