摘要
When the high-voltage transmission lines break down, the fault point should be separated from the network. In order to locate the fault point quickly and accurately, a new fault location method of two-terminal based on sequence components and strong tracking filter theory is presented. This paper proposes a method that using the fault distance as the state variable and failure voltage and failure current measured at two terminals as input variables, the system state and parameter joint estimation model is built. Using method of strong tracking filter to estimate fault distance, fault location can be found within a short time after accident. Using sequence component equation can unify form of state equation regardless of the type of fault. MATLAB program with a large number of fault data shows that the method with short time of location and accurate results is a very effective way to fault location.
