摘要
This study is all about the dimensional accuracy of a 3D-printed part at varied parameters namely; extruder temperature, layer height and printing speed. The specimen printed used fused deposition modeling 3D-printing technique and used PLA as the main filament. As for means of scanning, DAVID SLS-2 3D scanner was utilized that gave the necessary data for comparisons of the dimensions. The three factors mentioned in this study have two levels and three replications during the printing. The design of experiment used a 23 full factorial design. Analysis of Variance was used in determining whether there is a mean difference existing between one continuous dependent variable by an independent variable comprising of two or more levels. It was also used to determine if there is an existing interaction between the factors. This study's results have produced a two-way interaction among the factors which is shown in the generated graphs. In the test, run 3 produced the lowest result in percent deviation having a parameter of 230 degrees Celsius extruder temperature, 0.1 mm layer height, and 50 mm/sec printing speed. The effects of each other factors greatly differ from each other when taken individually. All the null hypotheses produced were rejected and the alternatives were accepted which shows that not all means among the individual factors are equal and that there exists an interaction among the chosen factors. It shows that the extruder temperature and layer height are the major factors contributing in dimensional accuracy. It was observed that its parameters in 230 degree C for extruder temperature and 0.1 mm for layer height produced accurate results.
