Trade policies and marketing channels: Perspective of a Brazilian sugar producer

摘要
This article discusses the sugar legal environment relevant for players in the sugar world market with respect to the marketing international channels. It is one of the very first steps in an international marketing plan and helps exporters and importers to build their strategies according to recent movements in this area. The reasons for the creation of such policies are analyzed, then the main instruments used by countries to regulate the market. The consequences and trends in this field are discussed and the implications for marketing channels are raised.
