摘要：
Project oriented companies have been facing a challenge these days whether to implement a higher level of project management - the project portfolio management. It is essential to realize what barriers within the company are preventing instant implementation of project portfolio before proceeding to such step. The paper presented searches for such barriers in companies operating in sector of services with the focus on small and medium enterprises. The research given is a pilot research which results should lead to follow-up research.
