Research on the Change of Employment Concept among University Students in the Context of Popularization of Higher Education

Developing a correct employment concept is of great practical significance to help university students successfully seek jobs and better realize their self-development. It is also crucial for building a harmonious society. This paper dwells on a systematic and in-depth analysis of the main problems existing in the current employment concept of Chinese university students and their major causes. Based on this and related research results, several constructive countermeasures have been recommended as to help students change their wrong employment concept, including the improvement of related employment policies; the creation of favorable social and cultural atmosphere; the reinforcement of education on obtaining employment and the enhancement of students' awareness about the importance of changing their employment concept.
