摘要
In this paper, a modified single-phase Multi-Level Inverter (MLI) is proposed that produces more steps per device count, which reduces less total expense, volume, weight and losses. The low Normalized Blocking Voltage (NBV) on switches is another advantage that results in reduced expense, volume and losses of switches and consequently higher efficiencies. Due to increased steps, the suggested configuration has low Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) and consequently high power quality. The proposed 49-level topology has been introduced, explained and compared with recently presented novel MLIs. For performance verification, the PSCAD/EMTDC has been used as simulation software. Comparison and simulation results approve the suitability of suggested configuration.
