A session on polarized electron and positron source was held at Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics at Kyoto University between Oct.3(rd) and 6(th) as a parallel session of SPIN2006 symposium. In this session, there were 15 talks and 6 poster presentations. Results of fundamental studies and applications of polarized electron/positron beams for high-energy physics and material science were reported and discussed. This summary is a short review on recent developments of photocathodes, electron guns and operational experiences, positron sources and polarimeter. More details of each report will be published in this proceeding.
