摘要
Radioisotopes are convenient sources for spin polarized slow positron beams. The production of a high intensity beam needs an intense radioisotope source, which can be realized by using a short half-fife isotope. A review is given on the development and use of short half-life radioisotope positron sources. In particular, details of the preparation of a F-18 positron source are described.
