摘要
Teenagers are immersed in a sociocultural environment full of musical expressions in the different contexts in which they participate: family, school, friends, mass media. The latter are the unquestionable protagonists in today's society. The aim of this paper is to analyse the influence of formal and informal education in students' musical preferences. 667 Compulsory Secondary Education students participated in the study. The main results show that the musical styles that adolescents listen to most are Pop, Reggaeton, Hip-Hop, and Rap. Moreover, while informal education directly influences the most popular musical styles, formal education affects the least popular styles.
