摘要
An 80Gbit/s OTDM system constructed entirely with electroabsorption modulators (EAM) is presented. Tandem EAMs with dual frequency drive generate 4.5ps pulses. A low polarisation sensitivity EAM demultiplexer enables error free operation with a sensitivity of -21.5dBm.
