摘要：
1-Amino-3-methylpyridinium mesitylenesulfonate (3) reacts with aromatic nitriles in the presence of potassium hydroxide, undergoing 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition followed by elimination of H-2 to give 2-aryl-8-methyl[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-a]pyridines as the major products, rather than the 6-methyl isomers.
