摘要：

For those psychologists interested in understanding infant development, genetic psychology still provides now days conceptual and methodological instruments appropriated for its study. In this essay the current role of this approach is analyzed, and other frameworks are critically discussed, especially those emerging in the fifties as a consequence of computer science development. The importance of psychological constructivism is underlined, and the consequences for the future of psychological methodology discussed.
