摘要
Prospects of using the high temperature superconductors (HTSC) for near-field microwave devices have been investigated theoretically. Electrodynamic model of electrically small antenna has been developed in order to calculate the main characteristics of the near-field microscopes. It has been shown that the use of HTSC in contact radiometry systems provides the possibility of reducing the electrical sizes of the antennas still maintaining their high efficiency. Application of HTSC in active near-field microscopes allows to increase the spatial resolution, sensitivity, and probing range.
