摘要
The melliferous resources must be rationally used in order to efficiency the bee forage of stationary and pastoral apiaries. A correct distribution of these require an assessment of the honey yield, to ensure an optimum load of bee colonies/unit area of foraging and for a correct knowledge of the melliferous resources. Exploitation of natural resources available locally in rural areas involve the mobilisation and the promotion of traditional activities such as beekeeping, by the decisions on the development and implementation of strategies for sustainable development of rural communities. The study was done in the area of the Ciucurova commune from the Babadag plateau, the Tulcea county, Romania, the area known for its environmental favorability conditions necessary to practice beekeeping. By researching the structure and the proportion of bee plants, we determined the correlation between plant proportion and amount of melliferous bee products. For identification, territorial distribution and typology analysis of forage resources in the studied area were centralised and interpreted data from the forest management plans of the Tulcea Forestry Department and of the Tulcea Department of Agriculture and thematic maps were drawn, which emphasise the Dobrogea rural beekeeping activities opportunities.
