摘要：
Acquisitions are an important strategic tool for management - one that seems to fail more often than not. There is some anecdotal evidence that serial acquirers seem to have a better chance of success than ad hoc and one-off acquisitions. In this paper we suggest that not all serial acquisitions are equally likely to succeed. Serial acquisitions that are part of an acquisition programme developed around sound business logic are most likely to succeed. (C) 2008 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
