摘要：
The aim of the paper is to present an implementation of the already mature web services technology to the realtime world based on the project Linux RTAI which includes advanced tools for the integration of Computer Aided Control System Design environments. Within this context, RTAI-XML is a new server component executing within a RTAI domain that works as a bridge between a remote client application and a real-time process. The server exposes its methods and properties to the Internet using XML (eXtensible Markup Language) and a remote procedure call framework. The application contexts of the new platform range from control education to industrial applications.
