The impact evaluation of carbon dioxide concentration on energy consumption analyzing indoor air quality

摘要
Carbon dioxide (CO2) is a good indicator of the concentration of human bioeffluents in closed space. The use of energy for heating and/or cooling rises with the ventilation noneffectiveness. There is a link between the concentration of pollution overall in the air and the concentration of pollutants in the breathing zone. The consequence of this is that the air-quality and the efficient use of energy conflict. A study case shows reducing the quantity of the fresh air means a saving of electrical energy up to 10,6 %.
