摘要
Building industry is one of the most main factors of environment pollution. Constantly are increasing the requirements for environmental protection. This environmental protection means adopting documents, which define the measures intended to achieve energy savings and environmental protection. The European Commission adopted main papers that are setting the most important goals for energy and energy efficiency. These are intervening also in the building construction industry. It is necessary for implement these requirements into the legal system of each member of the European Union. Modern methods of construction (MMC) can be the way, how to achieve buildings, that can minimalism the negative impacts of building industry on the environment. MMC can, in addition to increasing the efficiency of the construction, ensure the requirements resulting from Agenda 20-20-20 in energy consumption. This paper brings also some case studies about the impact of MMC on building construction and their energy efficiency.
