摘要
Oat (Avena sativa L.) is a good source of (1-3)(1-4)-beta-D-glucan and its content in the grain is influenced by genetic and environmental factors. Different oat species were evaluated for their quality of seeds. Variability in the range 1.24 (A. murphyi) - 6.94 % (A. sativa var. nuda) was detected in the content of beta-D-glucan. Hot dry weather, nitrogen and selenium fertilization and pathogen pressure increased the content of this polysaccharide. Relations between beta-D-glucan content and other qualitative parameters (lipids, proteins, starch) were observed.
