Blowup for irrotational C1 solutions of the compressible Euler equations in RN

摘要
In this article, we study the finite life span of the irrotational C-1-non-vacuum solutions, for the compressible Euler equations in R-N in fluid dynamics. We present the blowup results for the C-1 solutions, for which the initial functional H(0) = integral R-N x.u(0)dV, is sufficiently large. To partially complement the classical Sideris blowup results, F(0) = integral R-3 x. rho(0)u(0)dV, (Sideris, 1985), our blowup conditions do not depend on the density rho(0). (C) 2017 Elsevier Ltd.
