摘要
The effect of applied magnetic field on wear resistance of martensitic steel with different dislocation densities has been investigated. The wear resistance of martensitic steels improved under the applied magnetic field, while the improvement reduced as dislocation density decreased. The applied magnetic field could accelerate dislocation move towards the worn surface that enhanced surface hardness in wear. It was conducive to decreasing the wear rate of martensitic steel, especially for coarse grained steel with higher dislocation density and mobility. (C) 2019 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.
