Numerical Simulation of Soil Temperature Field Surrounding Vertical U Tube Heat Exchanger for Ground Coupled Heat Pump

摘要
A transient model of soil temperature distribution surrounding the vertical U tube heat exchanger for ground coupled heat pump is developed. The control volume method and the implied finite difference method are used to obtain the numerical results of heat conduction governing differential equation. The temperature variation of three kinds of soil with different thermophysical parameter is compared. The impact of thermal conductivity and volumetric heat capacity on soil temperature distribution is analyzed. According to the load characteristic of different kinds of buildings, the temperature distribution around vertical U tube heat exchanger is simulated. Then the soil temperature variation of continuous operation mode and intermittent operation mode is analyzed. The simulation results are very helpful to the design and operation of ground heat exchanger.
