摘要
No single knowledge-management (KM) application can meet all the requirements of all companies, and earlier research has shown that certain activities and business models need different forms of KM strategy, technology and implementation. Following a theoretical review, we aim in this study to examine KM applications in Hungary and their sectoral characteristics, and a short summary of similar domestic research provides an opportunity to make comparisons with earlier experience. In our survey, which was conducted in April 2008, we have attempted to identify characteristic features of domestic companies in the field of knowledge-management on the basis of their main activity. A total of 695 completed questionnaires does, we feel, ensure that accurate and relevant conclusions can be drawn in relation to Hungary. When considering intellectual capital, we pay special attention to showing both internal and external structures and individual competencies also. We provide information which, we feel, can be helpful in the planned development of individual competencies.
