摘要：

This paper studies the convergence of R&D efficiency among 30 provinces during 1999-2010 in China. We find: R&D efficiencies in the Eastern provinces are higher than the in china. The R&D efficiencies in the Eastern provinces increase first and decrease later; the efficiencies in the Middle and Western go up gradually. The dynamic evolution of kernel density distribution shows R&D efficiency diverges from the year 1999 to 2001, while converges from 2001 to 2009. Further, there exist club convergences. R&D efficiency would show absolutely convergent according to the trend of the secondary peaks drawing close to the main.
