摘要
The advantage of the Problem-oriented Project Learning (PPL) is that the students learn to solve the unsolved problems of the future. This is a response to the challenge from a fast changing society with an exponential growth in knowledge. Comprehensive evaluations of the Problem-oriented Project Learning at Aalborg University showed that the graduates as well as their employers had experienced that the PPL-graduates were better prepared than graduates from traditional universities within management, co-operation, project work, problem-solving, communication skills and general technical knowledge while they were worse prepared within specialist knowledge and fundamental knowledge. It was observed that the PPL-students regularly integrated theory with practice and felt they were prepared to tackle a wide range of new problems. They also were provided with qualifications, which made them easy to adopt at the labour market. There was a convincing agreement between the composition of the knowledge and experience used in the PPL-education and the professional practice after leaving the university.
