摘要
A new asymmetrical electrorheological damper has been developed for off-road trucks. The advantages of this system - a broad characteristic damping field with very short response times - have been demonstrated during field tests using an MAN off-road truck with a vehicle payload of 5 tons. The design of the dampers, the mathematical modelling and the control strategies will be discussed. The resulting semi-active system provides significant improvement in driving dynamics which is demonstrated by simulation studies and measurement results with the truck on a test track.
