摘要
A convergent approach for the synthesis of the two key fragments (C1-C4 and C5-C14) of cytospolide D is described. Key transformations include MacMillan's crossed aldol, Sharpless asymmetric dihydroxylation (AD) and Mitsunobu inversion reactions. [GRAPHICS] .
