摘要
At present there are many chat tools on the Internet, but their cross-platform character is poor. In order to make chat software cross platform a system of video image capture of camera based on JMF is researched and implemented. This system adopts Java as development tool. It adopts JMF technology and can long-distance transmit video images, voice and text. This system's structure is simple and its function is compact and applied. It can bring great convenience to people. It is worthy of practical extension and application.
