摘要
Nowadays, the hospital air conditioning expenditure depends on the costs of the operating department's air-conditioning system which provides the demanding indoor condition for operations. To reduce the operation costs, a new air-conditioning system is introduced, the comparison of energy consumption and control methods between the primary return air system (PRAS) and constant volume secondary return air system (CVSRAS) is made in this paper. In contrast with PRAS, the cost can be reduced greatly with the CVSRAS. Energy cost drops by 154.21%, 49.3%, 24.77%, and 12.15% respectively under the cleanliness class I, the class 11, the class III and the class W. In addition, the control system is not more complex than PRAS. In the CVSRAS, the temperature which needs to be dealt with by air cooler is too low. So, it is necessary to choose an appropriate air cooler in the process of design. However, in the CVSRAS, the temperature in the air duct and the fan sometimes doesn't rise to the temperature required. As a result, the air supply condition does not meet the condition required. But, concerning the temperature precision is not strictly demanded, the use of the CVSRAS in the operating department is recommended.
