A Reset Controller Design Method for MIMO Linear Systems

摘要
A reset controller design method for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems is proposed in this paper. Congruent transformation is used to derive the synthesis condition of controller gains and reset law altogether; while certain constraints on reset law modulate the controller design process to an optimization problem that can be solved efficiently using linear matrix inequality (LMI) techniques. Both quadratic stabilization and L-2 gain minimization problems of resulting reset control systems are addressed. Different from previous results, both reset surface and reset law are designed rather than predefined. An example is provided to illustrate the proposed approach.
