摘要
This paper examines the vibration in wet friction systems. Wet friction systems have been widely applied to automatic transmissions and heavy-duty machines. In this report, authors studied details of vibration phenomena by using developed testing apparatus. In this apparatus, three kinds of vibration were observed during the engage process. One was the torsional vibration of input shaft, the others were in-plane and out-of-plane vibration of separator plate. Input shaft torsional vibration under the varied test conditions was noticed. It was shown that the vibration increasing stopped when the relative sliding speed considered fluctuating component became to zero. At this moment, acceleration caused by the vibration reached to maximum value. The torque slope with decreasing relative sliding speed affected on time constant of the torsional vibration increasing rate. In this way, the motion aspects when input shaft vibration becomes to maximum value and its increasing process were experimentally clarified.
