摘要
Research on corporate social responsibility (CSR) gains widespread concern, since it has been proposed by the 1920s, especially the Strategic Corporate Social Responsibility (SCSR), which associates enterprise value creating with social responsibility. In recent years in China, with the deepening of market economy, enterprises start caring about the role of CSR when they compete with rival enterprises. Based on current researches on Strategic Corporate Social Responsibility, this paper summarizes the theoretical connotation and dimension division of SCSR to explore the implementations of strategic making of CSR. We examine some China's large state-owned enterprises which have published the CSR reports and study the performance of their social activities among four components of economic, legal, altruistic and ethical duties. We found that strategic making of CSR is not got enough attention by China's enterprises and they just fulfil social responsibility passively. To deal with this issue, the paper built a framework of strategic making of CSR based on theory and the practice. We also put forward some advice, hoping to implement of SCSR of Chinese enterprises.
