A Study on the New Connotation of Labor Education for College Students in the New Era

Since the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, General Secretary Xi Jinping has creatively put forward a new exposition of labor education. There is no doubt that labor education and moral, intellectual, physical and aesthetic educations are simultaneously developed in the new era. Moreover, respecting laborers, doing practical work to prosper the country and creating greatness have become the main theme of labor education. More importantly, these new concepts inject new connotations into the labor education of college students in the new era. In the context of the new era, it can be seen that the labor education of college students has a different meaning from the past. This requires us to re-examine and think about the connotation of college students'labor education. Based on the labor concept, goal orientation, goal establishment, principle determination, content setting, path selection and guarantee establishment, this paper tries to elaborate the new connotation of labor education for college students in the new era.
