A generalized version of forward-backward method for the fast analysis of large array problems

摘要：
The previous work on forward-backward method (FBM) for analysis restricts the element shapes to varying monotically along the horizontal plane. This paper generalizes FBNI, and allows element shapes of arbitrary cross sections while still retaining the efficiency and complexity. Numerical examples are presented to demonstrate its validity.
